Double Agent

A shirt dress should be a staple in any well-dressed av’s inventory.  It’s incredibly easy to wear and it’s useful for many looks and occasions.  I’m wearing the Agent13 dress by Truth in these pics.

Casual Everyday

For an easy casual look I’ve simply paired it with some trendy black boots and silver or platinum jewelry.  I went with big delicious hair as I find it very difficult not to add a hint of glam to my looks :) .

Dark Side

For something a little different I decided to take the dress into darker territory. Fishnets, kinky boots, leather belts and heavier jewelry did that for me.  Not to mention the gorgeous make-up!  To balance it all out a little, I went with perky piggies on top.

Rich make-up for the everyday look and dramatic and over the top eyes for the dark look.  Product details below the cut.

Three Takes on Hellenas

This time I’ve used the beautiful empire line (or babydoll, if you prefer) Hellenas dress from Last Call for an attempt at three different looks for the same dress. I just have to say that the texture on this dress is so lush, I can almost hear the silk swoosh as I walk. It feels expensive and exclusive.

High Society. I’m thinking swanky cocktail party in Manhattan’s Upper East Side, or in London’s Belgravia.

Elegant and classy hairdo paired with diamonds set in gold. Subtle make up and high, yet classy heels. Topped off with a gold sequin clutch – which you really can’t see so well in the pic, but looks fabulous as you walk or stand around.

Rock-chic. This look has attitude and can be worn anywhere anytime.

I like the contrast of the expensive looking silk dress with a khaki military style jacket and sturdy boots. Smoky eyes and sexy hair add attitude. No accessories needed.

Romantic. This girl just fell in love and can’t think of anything but her honey.

Keeping it simple as if she just threw on the first dress she saw, gathered her hair loosely, and slipped on a pair of ballerinas. The coin jewelry work with the embellishments on the dress itself.

Triple Take

Here’s an example of how versatile a dress can be. The dress in this spread is from artilleri, and even though it is rather original and particular in its design, it works in many different looks.
image-1_09may2007.jpg
In this first one, which I like to call rock-chic, I added a jean jacket from G.L.A.M together with fishnets from !Wrong and calf-boots from ETD. Funky braids from Gurl6 top it off perfectly.

Exchange the jean jacket for a white shrug, this one from Blaze, and add cute ballerinas (Shiny Things), and voilà – a sweet and innocent look. Hair from ETD.

Want to glam it up? Let the dress itself do all the talking. Just add some strappy heels (LC Vamp) and sexy hair. Cuff from Earthstones.
