Urban Glam

It’s Saturday night and it’s club night! I went with a more urban look today, combining a hoodie with a pair of shorts.

The hoodie from X3D is of course very glam with stars sprinkled all over it, and I continued on the sparkle theme with lots of exagerated silver or platinum jewerly (bling warning for earrings and necklace) for some of that urban feel.

I kept the rest of the garments all black to balance all the sparkle. I finished off with cool platform shoes, for cutting some serius rug. :)

The hair is messy and sexy and the make-up is dramatic.

Rawr….

Heading for a live gig with your favorite rock band…

Sexy little animal print mini-skirt paired with a basic tank gives a bit of attitude and works perfectly for the occasion. Add plenty of black bangles and platform wedges to complete the look.  I added the clutch for a little dose of girliness mixed in there.

Hair straight and simple (my current favorite!).  Eyes are smokey and lips are pale.

Gorgeous Glossy Glam

I felt like some serious classy glossy glam today and was very happy to find this white pant suit from Casa del Shai.

I added lots of gold accessories — shoes, clutch and jewelry — to pick up on the gorgeous and luxurious texture in the pant suit. The sheer neck scarf is just fabulous and puts this suit in a class of its own – very, very Armani.

Three Divas

The Classy Diva is cool and collected as she confidently glides over the floor mingling and chatting with other guests at The Big Award Ceremony, or at a Benefit Gala or Fund Raiser.

This classically cut beauty of a dress from Blaze works wonderfully for the occasion. Paired with upswept hair and discrete diamonds the look is complete.

The Fashion Diva can be seen at major premieres and openings. She will walk the red carpet like a pro and attract all the paparazzi attention.

This stunning dress from Last Call, with the corsette bodice and sheer and sparkly hem just oozes sensual glamour. Hair is curled by the shoulders to add Hollywood feel to the look.

The Party Diva always gets invited to The Parties and she makes sure they are hopping. She will take to the dance floor and party all night.

This fabulous and original dress from X3D is perfect for dancing the night away. The bold colours and the sexy cleavage will get you noticed and the unusual skirt petals are wonderful in movement. Acutally, the dress looks completely different when standing still; have a look at the thumbnails here below to see what I mean.

Summer Nights

You’ve spent the day on the beach and your skin is glowing from all that sun, sand and sea. Come the night, its time to show it off.

The combination of the simple tunic-like cut and the bold blue (and very trendy) colour makes this dress from Last Call stand out. No need for lots of accessories cluttering up the look. Simple silver tassle earrings (very large hoops would have worked just as well) and my new favorite summer sandals from Maitreya (would love these in gold, silver, snakeskin and all black *wink, wink, nudge, nudge*).

The hair is gathered in a low pony at the neck for maximum exposure of the beautiful neckline. Make-up is heavier with shimmery purple-grey-blues and dramatic eyeliner (from the new Deviant Nation line at Last Call by the talented Starley Therian). More product details below the cut.

Freakum Dress

This post is inspired by “Freakum Dress” by Beyoncé. If you haven’t heard it, a Freakum Dress is what you wear to get your man’s (or woman’s) attention back if he’s been neglecting you. And what I’ve got for you here is guaranteed to get attention…Sequins, sequins and more sequins!

Starting off with this silver and black number from Oh! What a Neat Boutique (OWNB). It’s sexy yet classy and a little cute.

Next up is this gorgeous turquoise dress from X3D – this is my personal favorite. It hits current trends with the simple cut and with the super-mini skirt length. We are taking up the sexy a level; showing off a lot of leg.
image-2-1_05may07.jpg

Last, but most definitely not least, comes the uber-sexy Fashionista from Last Call. To pull this one off, I would suggest a large dose of pretty-girl-attitude!
image-3_05may07.jpg

I’ve kept accessories to a minimum here, as these dresses are more than enough on their own. The make-up follows the contrasting theme of the outfits – bare skin vs glittering sequins – bare lips vs very smoky eyes, and I chose big hair to balance out all that bare skin.
